I'm very sad to check my IMF emails to see this announcement. May your soul rest in Peace. It was a pleasure working with you at the IMF.

Maria was a beautiful, elegant, loving lady.
I will always remember her smile and positive view to life.  Maria will be missed and memories of her held deep within my heart.

Dear Baartz Family - Words cannot fully express the sorrow I feel concerning Maria's passing.  The sorrow is fed not only by her death, and life, but by her unbelievably wonderful family.  Each of you is so special - you have enriched my life, and I'm sure I am not alone with that sentiment.  You girls each have that particular quality, of brightening up another person's day, and I'm sure that together, your Mom and Dad helped that quality blossom.  Maria was so proud of her family, and with good reason.  Just by continuing to be the wonderful young ladies that you are, you will honor her memory on a daily basis.  You are a living monument to her spirit and soul - stay strong, and cherish the memory of her love.

We were very saddened today to hear the news about Maria. We remember during our time at CSOV her kindness, and the joy she took in her girls.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Paul, Lauren, Jacqueline, and Maria's entire family.

Our family just heard the news about Maria and we would like to express our deepest condolences on this sad occasion and our sincere appreciation for the kindness and warmth Maria showed us when our family was in crisis a few years ago during the fire. I heard with shock a couple of days ago that Maria was seriously ill. I had hoped to be able to talk to her and then came the sad news of her passing. I fondly remember the time I spent with her working at the annual meetings. Maria was a gracious person with a ready smile. She was always ready to help out when needed. Above all she was proud of her daughters - she always told us about all the wonderful things they were doing.
I am truly sad at Maria's passing. Please accept my condolences on your loss.

It was with great sadness in learning of maria's passing. I will always remember her smiling face, infectious laugh and the warmth she had for others. I have been retired now for 10 years but still think of her as a loving and caring person. May she rest in peace.

The loss of our colleague has left us all with heavy hearts that ache whenever we walk past her workstation, think of her, or when any aspect of her job is discussed. Maria touched so many, and all were better for it! You had the most infectious giggle, were so positive, and were so brave! This is how you will be remembered. Rest in peace our dear friend and colleague.
