Maria Luisa Lillo

Born on March 6, 1944 in Santiago Chile, she was a daughter of Luis Alberto Fernandez and Luzmira de las Mercedes Torres. She married Jose Omar Lillo on April 11, in Washington DC. She worked in food services for over 40 years and loved cooking for her family and friends.

Luisa is preceded in death by Abuelita Tila, father, Luis Fernandez, mother, Luzmira Torres and sister Lucrecia Roa.

Luisa is survived by her loving spouse, Omar Lillo, her daughters, Fabiola Vasquez, Katharine “Katy” Zavala and Leslie Lillo, son in-laws, Jorge Vasquez and Dario Zavala, siblings, Teresa Pino, Luis Fernandez and Litha Osses Zambrano, her 5 grandchildren Sabrina, Gordito, Lorena, Sebastian and Andrea, 8 great-grandchildren, Belita, Mika, Mia, Emilia, Adalynn, Lazarito, Gabrielito, Valerie, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will take place at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042, on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

A Committal Service will follow the funeral at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
