

Marian Musolino Dragos died June 21 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Leesburg. She was 93.
Mrs. Dragos was born in Hartford, Connecticut, on June 9, 1919, to immigrant parents from Italy. She moved with her family to the District of Columbia as a child, and grew up in a section in the northeast part of the city known as Little Italy. She retired to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, in the 1970s, and returned to the Washington, D.C., area in the 1990s, residing in Leesburg. She graduated from public high school and a secretarial school in the District, and worked as a government secretary and administrative assistant. Known for her excellent fashion sense as well as her elite typing skills, Mrs. Dragos enjoyed travel and dancing. She was also a talented pianist and continued to play the piano for the enjoyment of the staff and other residents while at Heritage Hall.
Mrs. Dragos was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Dragos; her parents, Domenic Joseph and Concetta (Pelicano) Musolino; and four brothers: Rocco, Matthew, Joseph and Anthony Musolino. She is survived by a sister. Theresa Stansberry, of Santa Rosa, California; a son, Gary Joseph Dragos of Maitland, Florida; a granddaughter, Jennifer Dragos Barrett of Wilmington, North Carolina; great-granddaughter, Hannah Grace Barrett and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 28, at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, 23331 Sam Fred Rd., Middleburg. Friends may call from 10 until 11 a.m., Thursday at the church. Entombment will be in National Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum at 1:30 p.m., Thursday.
