THOMAS, Marilee M., 85, of Richmond, formerly of Northern Virginia, died April 14, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph B. Thomas, Sr. Survivors include her son, Ralph B. Thomas, Jr. and his wife, Yasmin; three grandsons, Adam Thomas and his wife, Hilary, Nathan Thomas, and Gabriel Thomas; and her great-grandson, Garrett Thomas.
Mrs. Thomas was a master gardener and was a talented artist and cook. She enjoyed raising horses and, in her later years, playing bowling on the Nintendo Wii. Most of all, she will be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Her remains rest at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday.
