Marjorie V. Deck

Marjorie Virginia Deck, of Falls Church, passed away on August 30th, in Baltimore. Born on October 6, 1928, in New York to Martha and John Chisholm. She married George Nelson Deck on June 2, 1951. She worked for the state of Virginia as a Secretary for 20 years and received many awards before she retired. She was a proud member of the National Women's Health Initiative, helping millions of women for over 40 years. She loved her country, animals, her loving family and ensuring everyone’s happiness. She is preceded in death by her sons Raymond & John, husband George and sister Ruth Deck. She is survived by Daughter in Law Bonnie Deck, grandchildren Johnny Deck (Jessica) Jennifer Coles (Chad), great grandchildren Hunter & Bryson Coles, Niece Lisa Perez (Allan), Jeanne Weaver (Al) and nephew Wayne Deck. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023, National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042. Visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, committal service from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM and reception from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM..
