Born in Brooklyn NY, January 12, 1925, Marvin passed on June 3. Born and educated in Brooklyn, he served in World War II, received his B.S. from Brooklyn College, moved to Washington DC in 1950 where he owned and operated Saddles 5&10 for 40 years, and was employed for 30 years at National Memorial Park at King David in Falls Church until his passing. He is predeceased by his first wife Mae Burstein and survived by his current wife, Jane Kraft Burstein; daughters: Susan (Sam) Rashkin, Sharon (Jeff) Franca/Davis, Cynde (Mitchell) Singer, Dr. Burton (Joan) Kraft, David, deceased (Theresa) Kraft, Andrea (David) Tulla; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He loved and adored spending time with his family, Jewish traditions, playing bridge, reading spy novels, Classical Music, the arts, his work and a unique sense of humor.
His funeral will be held Friday, June 6 at 10:30am in the Chapel at National Funeral Home, Falls Church, VA. Internment following the service at King David Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Endowment fund at Beth El Hebrew Congregation in Alexandria, VA.
