Mary Jo passed away July 6, 2026 at Arden Courts of Fair Oaks memory care facility. Born June 17, 1931 in Watertown, Ohio. Mary Jo was an Arlington County resident of over 70 years, first coming to Washington DC to work for the Marine Corp at Arlington Navy Annex around 1949, where she would soon meet her future husband, Ray.
Mary Jo and Ray spent the following decades building their beautiful family. They found an invaluable community in their fellow N. Van Buren families. Their life-long friendships with some of the families are still strong today.
Preceded in death by her husband SGM Raymond E Ferezan sons Johnnie Ray and Michael Ray Survived by her children Larry Ray, Jeanne Rae, Terry Ray (Jeanine) and Anita Rae Ann Curtis (Mark) 5 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
