Mary Katherine Holt

Services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, September 10, 2021 in the chapel of National’s Funeral Home located at 7482 Lee Hwy., Falls Church, Virginia 22042. To honor mom’s ultimate wish for herself, her son, Rev. Gary Johnson will be officiating the services. She will then be laid to rest reuniting her with her husband, Claude Donald Holt.

Mary was born on October 3, 1934 in Huntly, Virginia daughter to the late Henry Harrison and Lillie Virginia Jenkins. Throughout her life, Mary did many things, but the one true passion she lived for was that of caring for children, from her own to the many families to which she provided her compassion and caring nature.

Mary was preceded in death by her husbands, Lawson Moncure Johnson, Jr. (Biological father of Gary, Mike and Donna) and Don Holt (Father of Charles and Dad to all of Mary’s Children), Her mother Lillie, her father Henry, Brothers – Charles, Johnny, Thurmon “Pete” & Booten Jenkins and her sisters Irene Jenkins and Virginia Perry.

Mary is survived by her children and their spouses, Gary & Debra Johnson, Mike & Sandy Johnson, Donna & Dave Frame and Charles & Leslie Holt, her grandchildren, Timothy & Sarah Johnson, Brian & David Johnson, Rachel Fischer, Riley, Nathan & Brady Holt and had the pleasure of meeting 2 of her four great grandchildren, Noelle & Micah KimJohnson and Daniel & Jacob Fischer.
