Mary N. Ibrahim

It is with deep sorrow that we announce that our beloved Mary N Ibrahim was called to the lord peacefully on Friday July 15, 2022. She was born in Ramallah, Palestine to Abed and Azizeh Kassis on February 25,1938. She married Naim S. Ibrahim in 1958.

Mary was a very caring and loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to everyone she met. Mary and her husband immigrated to the United States with their children in 1964 and worked hard to make a good life for themselves and their children. She devoted her life to her family and her friends and was the most loving and caring person.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Naim S. Ibrahim, her son Isam N. Ibrahim and her sisters. Mary is survived by her children, Bassam and his wife Mary, Rose and her husband George (Ghanem) and grandchildren and spouses, Amanda and Mathew Bannoura (spouse) Michael and Aishah (spouse), and Andrew, George and Kristin Ghanem (spouse), Nicholas and Arielle Ghanem (spouse) and Alexander, and great-grandchildren Lillian, Nora, George, and Lena. She is survived by many nieces and nephews as well and her bothers Issa and Jack Kassis.

Funeral Arrangements

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 9 to10 AM, with funeral services directly following at Saint Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, 10620 River Road, Potomac, MD, 20854.

Interment will follow immediately at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20906.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all donations go to Saint George Orthodox Christian Church, 4335 16th Street Washington D.C. 20011.
