Mary was born on August 13, 1938, in Dunbar, West Virginia, to Crystal Pauline Pierson and Melvin Tot Pierson. She later made her home in Falls Church, Virginia, where she built a life centered on faith, family, and love.
Mary was the devoted wife of John R. Wigglesworth Jr., with whom she shared 68 wonderful years of marriage. Together they created a loving family and a lifetime of cherished memories.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, John R. Wigglesworth III, who passed away in 1992.
Mary is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, John R. Wigglesworth Jr.; her children, Leslie Wigglesworth Kosar (Robert), Charles Wigglesworth, and Lee Wigglesworth; her cherished grandchildren, Michael Kosar (Rachel), Gabriel Kosar (Nicole), and Abigail Kosar (Josh); and her beloved great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Kosar, Elliana Kosar, and soon-to-arrive Baby Carte, each of whom was blessed by her boundless love, gentle wisdom, and unwavering support. She is also survived by her brother, John Charles Pierson, and his son, John Charles Pierson Jr.
Mary’s greatest joy was her family. She will be remembered for her loving spirit, her steadfast faith in the Lord, and the kindness she extended to everyone she met. Her life was a testament to love, devotion, and grace, and her legacy will continue through the generations that follow.
While her family grieves her passing, they find comfort in knowing that she is at peace in the presence of her Savior.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
