MaryAnn DiComo (née Fichera) of Brooklyn, NY, passed away on October 27, 2025, in Falls Church, VA. She was the devoted wife of Charlie, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage, built on love and laughter.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, on May 5, 1946, MaryAnn lived a life devoted to family and giving. She was the proud mother of three children and a loving grandmother of 8. She found her greatest joy in family gatherings, cooking, and sharing meals. Her amazing cooking, warmth, and kindness touched all who knew her.
MaryAnn spent the last 12 years working as a teacher’s assistant in Calabasas, CA, with pre-K children and was beloved by her “babies”, parents, and staff alike, for her kindness, patience, and good humor.
MaryAnn is survived by her husband, Charles DiComo; children, Charles, Michael, and Catherine; and grandchildren, Tucker, McKenna, Bennett, Charlie, Mia, Lawson, Keaton, and Sam.
A memorial service will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at the National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042.
