May was born February 17, 1938 in China. She was an educator in China before she came to the United States in the 1960’s and became a United State Citizen in 1978.
May married Gene Bong Lee in 1969, who preceded her in death.
She was a devoted mother to her three children, Linda (Adil) Nowsherwan of South Riding, VA, Diana Lee of Fairfax, Va and Wayland (Erica) Lee of Vienna, VA. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Isabella Nowsherwan, Katelyn and Desmond Lee.
A graveside service for May will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042.
