Miguelito Roy Hobiena

Mike is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Josephine C. Hobiena; his son, Michael C. Hobiena; his daughter in law, Tracy G. Hobiena; his grandchildren, Ethan M. Hobiena and Lyla G. Hobiena; and his three beloved sisters.

He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, faithfully serving his country for 24 years from September 1965 to May 1989. After retiring from the Navy, Mike continued his commitment to service by working at the Uniformed Services University Hospital, supporting the education and training of future military medical professionals.

Mike loved to fish, cook, and tell stories - passions that brought joy, laughter, and comfort to everyone around him. His warmth, humor, and generosity will be deeply missed, and his legacy will live on in the family he cherished.

A service and interment at Arlington National Cemetery will be held at a later date to honor his life and military service.
