I know you are happy and at peace now. You and dad are dancing in the clouds. I love you both. It was wonderful to spend time with old friends and all of our family members. God bless all of you.

Grandma,

We will miss you so much - your love, your big sense of humor, your guidance, your cooking (especially the strawberry cake!); but most of all, being together. 

I will never forget Sunday supper and how it brought us all together; swinging on the front porch swing in Arlington with a glass of sweet tea; sitting next to you in church enjoying your pocketbook full of candy; the joy you found singing in the choir; your love of day-time soaps; and your sudden ear-piercings at the age of 80!

The love you and grandad shared has always inspired me and taught me the true meaning of unconditional love.  While it devastates me that you had to leave us, I find great joy and comfort knowing that you and Grandad will be together again.  

I will always love you and keep our memories close to my heart.

I love you so much! You were such an amazing grandmother who I always have and always will look up to for inspiration. You were such a cheerful person who always had a smile on your face. We have so many memories, too many to count. I will never forget the time that you were teaching me how to blow a bubble with bubble gum when I was only four years old, and when you went to demonstrate your dentures flew across the room with the bubble gum stuck to them!! I was always afraid that if I tried to blow a bubble, that the same thing would happen to me!! I always enjoyed singing for you and talking with you, because you always lit up the room with your bubbly personality. I love you so much and I will miss you forever.

While looking through the on-line photo album, I came to realize I actually knew of your Mom and Dad while attending Sterling Park Baptist Church years ago.  Your Mom stood out with her wonderful bright smile she had.  What a small world it is, that I'm your neighbor for all these years and didn't realize that she was your Mom.
