Nancy Lee (Sheets) Barnes, 74, of Sumerduck, VA passed away on October 26, 2012. She was born in Spring Creek, Virginia

in Rockingham County, a daughter of Ola Virginia (Miller) and Ward Sheets. In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her husband Richard I. Barnes, Jr. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Robert Courtney; granddaughters, Jennifer Fitzpatrick, husband James Fitzpatrick and Christina Ristow, husband Justin Ristow; great grandchildren, Madison Lee Fitzpatrick and Noah August Ristow; daughter and son-in-law, Caroline and Wayne MacPhee; grandchildren, Michael MacPhee, wife Martha MacPhee, Mosher MacPhee, Desselyn MacPhee, fiancé Kevin Weberman; great granddaughter, Ellie Weberman; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Anne Barnes; granddaughter, Heather Barnes, step-granddaughters, Melissa Saunders, Teresa Garrison, husband Vince Garrison; great-grandchildren, William L. Goelz, Serenity A. Saunders, Jonathan M. Mauck, Lincoln L. Garrison and Holbrook M. Garrison; sister Joan Souers.

She will be laid to rest at National Memorial Cemetery in Falls Church, after a 10:00 AM Memorial Service on November 5 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Warrenton, VA.
