Neena Kapur

Neena Kapur, 62, of Arlington, Virginia passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. She came to this area in 1974 from her native of New Delhi, India. She was a licensed practical nurse for over 40 years and recently worked at The Washington House and The Hermitage of Northern Virginia. She was a member of Queen of Apostles Catholic Church in Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her brother, Nerij. Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Michael Kapur of Arlington; two sons, Alan Kapur and Brian Kapur, both of Arlington; two sisters, Laxmi Astik and Jeevan Reichers, both of Switzerland; two brothers, Shankar Kalianpur of Canada and Jayant Kalianpur of Germany. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, Alexandria at 11:30 a.m. with a visitation at the funeral home two hours prior.
