She is survived by her sisters Nguyễn Dan and Nguyễn Thuy, and many nephews and nieces and grand nephews and nieces.
Born in Phnom Penh, Cambodia to Lê Khá and Phạm Thị Tuyết, number 6 of a family of 9 children. Immigrated to the United States in 1975 with her mother and siblings.
A Buddhist and a traveler, she enjoyed participating in prayer groups and making pilgrimages to Buddhist sites overseas. Served in the Virginia Social Services Department as a Secretary for many years.
Despite the difficulties of Alzheimer's Disease, Kim Cúc's never lost her innate disposition to be happy, she was always smiling, endearing her to everyone caring for her in her last years.
A funeral service will be held June 4th at National Funeral Home in Falls Church, VA.
