Nick --

I have many memories of you as a youth. I always thought you were a fine boy, fiercely protective of his mother and sisters, and a good friend to my boys Alex and Thatcher. I recall many fun times when we were all together. I'm sorry you were taken from us so young but pray you are in God's embrace now, basking in His glorious light, safe, content, and happy.

Nick, I love you so much...Nothing I say will be good enough to describe what you mean to me. I wish you didn’t have to leave us so soon. There will forever be a space in my heart that belongs to you. I will carry our childhood memories, joy, and laughter with me until I see you again. What I wouldn’t do just to hug you one last time...You always protected me fiercely and I’m sorry I couldn’t do the same for you in the end. I hope you are at peace.
