Wallace, just seeing your mother's sweet face brought back a flood of awesome memories!  I am so thankful to have had her in my life oh so many years ago.  Know that we will be praying for you and your family, praying that you will find comfort and know that she is always watching over you from heaven!!!

Wallace, George and I are so sorry for your loss; losing a parent is never easy, but we know that she is rejoicing in heaven and we'll see her again.  Olive helped us when we moved to VA in the '70s and didn't know anyone; she made sure we knew that Camp was the place to be each August..so many great memories were made there.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.

The thing that always comes first to my mind about Aunt Olive is that she told me she prayed for me to get saved for 22 years, and when it happened in October 1982, (I was 26), she was "flabbergasted." (I think that was her word.) I have often wished I had known her and your dad better when I was growing up. I remember how she came up and helped us in PA when our mom died in 1979 and I'm sure she was praying for us. It sounds like you will have many good memories of her and that is a legacy every parent should leave.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

While sitting through the service for your Mom, our hearts were touched.
Olive was a great testimony to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To have such a remarkable eulogy was praiseworthy.  
We are sorry we were not able to know her in this lifetime, but we look forward to seeing her in the next.

May your mother's legacy continue through you and your children.

Olive was the most fun loving person I know.  She always had a smile and always wanted to do for others.  I remember when she and your dad helped the teens back in the 60s at Calvary Church.  What fond memories I have of those days.  And they her cooking backing legacy at the church campground!  We all loved to go to the Rumbarger cabin for homemade cookies.

She longed for Heaven and wanted to be with Jesus, see your Dad, her parents and other friends and loved ones.  Now she has that privilege.  She will always be a very special person in my life.  Bunni, Centreville, VA

Wally, so sad to hear of your lost. She was a very extraordinary woman, so loved and will be well missed by so many.

I am one of Olive's clients when she was a visiting teacher. She changed my and my children's lives and she will never be forgotten.
She was a treasure and now she is with the Lord. We will miss talking to her, her good example, and her wisdom.
She was a true Christian lady and the Lord will greet her with "Well done, my good and faithful servant." She will have many stars in her crowns.
When a loved one dies, our greatest comfort is to know that CHRIST Lives!!!

I will always remember the way she encouraged me to be the woman God wants me to be...and she was a wonderful role model....because she lived her life in total love.  I never word one unkind word about her.  Love you, Wallace!

Wally, I was so saddened to hear the news that your mom had passed.  All of our lives are so richly blessed to have been able to have her in our lives.  Her unwaivering commitmentand love for her Savior, her family and friends, and her church will never be forgotten.  You and your family are in my prayers. She will be greatly missed and for me, so will her cookies!!  I loved her dearly.  I so wish that I could be there to support you and your family during this difficult time.

Wallace, may God grant you peace and comfort at this time.  Take assurance in the fact that you have been a loving and faithful son to your Mother.  She and your Father enriched the lives of the Hal Murray Family and we love you dearly.

Wally, I am so glad I knew your folks. They were the youth sponsors of my youth group before there were youth pastors!  They gave a lot of their time and energy to see that we had good training and good times of fellowship in those days. God bless you!

Wally, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  Your mom will forever be one of my most favorite people that God so richly blessed me to know.  When we were at Virginia Nazarene Family camp one year, she gave me an old cookie recipe cookbook (dated Feb. 10, 1969) that I will cherish always!  She will be greatly missed, but we certainly know that she is suffering no more, is singing, she's with your dad and she is probably baking cookies in Heaven as we speak!!
