ROBINSON LAWSON (Age 92)
On August 12, 2012, Deaconess Ora R. Lawson, of McLean, VA. Wife of the late Harold L. Lawson, mother of Harold M., Juan O., the late Donald L., foster mother to Syb Gaskins. Survived by sister-in-law, Eva Lawson, six grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. A retired Fairfax County Public Schools teacher and Golden Soror of the KA Chapter of the AKA Sorority. Active in numerous community organizations. Lifetime Achievement Award by the NAACP. Services at First Baptist Church of Vienna at 450 Orchard St. NW, Vienna, VA. Visitation 10 a.m. until Service at 11 a.m., August 24. Interment National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA. Arrangements by Ames Funeral Home of Manassas, VA.
