Patricia Mae McCrea Goff of Falls Church, Virginia passed away September 23, 2018 surrounded by her family. Pat was born April 11, 1939 to Luttrell and Catherine McCrea in the District of Columbia. She grew up in Arlington and graduated from Wakefield High School in 1957. As a youngster, she would accompany her father who would play guitar in local venues while she sang Patsy Cline songs.
She was a dedicated civilian employee of the Department of Defense, U.S. Army, Defense Logistics Agency for forty-three years at the Pentagon. Pat evacuated from the Pentagon during the terrorist attack, September 11, 2001 and was so thankful to have many more years to love her grandchildren and drive her red Mustang. She was known affectionately as “MomMom” to her grandchildren, and many of their friends. She was a spitfire who maintained her strength of spirit throughout her illness.
Pat is survived by her dedicated husband of fifty-three years, Darrell Goff, Sr., daughter Theresa (Jeff) Davis, son Darrell “Dean” (Kathy) Goff Jr., grandsons Joshua (Lizzy) Davis and Logan Goff, granddaughters Caitlin Davis and Madison Goff, brothers Billy (Diane) McCrea of Littlestown, PA, Timmy (Donna) McCrea of Berkley Springs, WV, sister Judy (Eric) Dittrich of Manassas, VA, three nephews and a niece.
