Phyllis M. Shrader

Of Gainesville, VA, died Friday, February 4, 2022, at her home. She was born February 18, 1934, in Audubon County, Audubon, Iowa. Daughter of the late Randolph Hurst and Gladys Alma Christensen. Ms. Shrader was also preceded in death by her brother, Bill Christensen, and her ex-husband Frederick Shrader ... Survivors include three children, Denice Shrader and husband Dalton McKenzie, Kenny Shrader and wife Connie J. and Phyllis Anne Shrader-Robinson and husband John "Ted”: two grandchildren, Amanda M. Shrader Atlee and husband David and Jared R. Shrader. The family will receive friends at 11:00 am, with the Funeral service immediately following at noon Friday, February 11, 2022, at Gainesville United Methodist Church, 13710 Milestone Court, Gainesville, VA. with Pastor John Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church. Please join the family for a reception at National Funeral Home following the internment.
