

Ravi was born in Maharashtra, India to artist Morarji and Gunvanti Sampat on December 20, 1945. He worked as an architect for 31 years for the US Government, with his last position at the National Institutes of Health.
Ravi was a devout Hindu who embraced a life of simplicity and humility. His deepest and enduring passion was the pursuit of knowledge, and he wholeheartedly embraced the belief that 'Knowledge is Power,' a motto he lived by throughout his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, Devendra Sampat. Ravi is survived by his wife, Aruna, his children Keeran (Palak), Ronak (Faith), and Sonal (Amar), his grandchildren Talin, Arjun, Neela, Divya and Priya Sampat and Ahana and Liya Sethi. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Saroj Sampat, and his younger brother Upendra Sampat and wife Maya.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM ET on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at National Funeral Home with Thripathi Ji of Rajdhani Mandir officiating. Arrangements are by National Funeral Home.
