Age 87
Born on June 2, 1927 in Granite City, Illinois and passed away on October 15, 2014. Served in WWII as a Merchant Marine. Retired from the Marine Corps after 23 years on service to his country.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Claire; children, Gordon Raymond and Linda (Tom) Papageorge; grandchildren, T.C. (Lauren) and Steven Raymond (Marie-France) Papageorge; great grandchildren, Ava, Ella, and Harper.
Visitation will be held 3-7p.m., Sunday, October 19, at Murphy Funeral Home, 1102 W Broad Street, Falls Church, VA, with a service to begin at 6p.m. Interment at Quantico National Cemetery on Monday, October 20 at 9a.m.
