Mary Jane,

I am so, so sorry for your loss. Dick was a wonderful man and I thoroughly enjoyed being able to know him during my time at Powhatan. I will always remember his incredible kindness, singing along to songs with him, and his infinite love for you. He will be greatly missed.

So sorry to hear of Dick’s passing. Dick was a very strong and fine gentleman, and Mary Jane and Dick were the finest couple I’ve known. While Dick’s passing can’t be undone, neither can the legacy he’s left nor the wonderful memories we all have of him.

I was new to the Chorale but once we met, Dick always made me feel welcome.

Dear Mary Jane,

My deepest sympathy to you on the death of Dick. He fought long and hard against his cancer to stay with you as long as possible. I cherish the times I was able to drive him to rehearsals of the New Dominion Chorale. It gave me an opportunity to get to know him better and enjoy his company. It was my privilege to do so. May he rest in peace eternally.

I am so sorry for Dick's family for his passing. I am honored that I was able to bring him Holy Communion at Powhatan and loved hearing him play the piano there. I wish you all peace and comfort at this difficult time.

So sad to hear of Dick's passing. Enjoyed lectoring with him over the years at St John the Beloved. And hearing his stories of working with the Arimetheans to help bring comfort and peace to our mourners.
May Dick's friends and family now be recipients of that peace that passes all understanding.
Requiescat in pace.
