Dear Family of Rob,

I just learned of Rob's passing. I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked with Rob at Raffa, and enjoyed his genuine, down-to earth personality and good sense of humor. He spoke of his family so lovingly. I will pray for Rob to rest in peace and for all of you in this difficult time.

I knew Robert Gibbs from high school where we were in Mrs. Pindell's Business Math class together. Years later, through Facebook, we found we are both curmudgeons with hearts of gold, sarcastic senses of humor and deep love of family. A photo of Mr. Gibbs,  taken at one of his kids' weddings, shows he and his beautiful wife Jackie embracing, barefoot on the sandy beach, in their fancy clothes. Jackie later passed suddenly, but Rob took comfort in their someday reunion. And now that's come to pass. Rest in Power my friend, until we meet again.

I worked with Rob at Raffa.  I am honored to call him friend.  He used to give me figs from his trees and worked with me on growing my own from cuttings he gave me.  We had great talks and laughter.  I was heartbroken for Rob and his family when his wife died.  I am now heartbroken again for Rob's family.  Godspeed my friend.  You and your wife are now together again..

Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time.  I am so honored to have had the opportunity to work with Rob; he was so kind and nice and had such a great sense of humor. My thoughts are with his family, and I wish them all the best.  

A true friend is never truly gone. Their spirit lives on in the memories of those who loved them.  Be well my friend! 

I am sending my prayers, hugs and love to the family.   Rob was a father figure to me and the one who gave me a chance to work in Finance and erased my fear with math. Because of him, I wouldn't be where I am today. The best billing department Raffa had because of Rob! I am forever grateful for him and grateful that I was a part of his team. I'm thankful that we all stayed in contact through the years. Thank you Rob, I will miss you dearly... Thank you for the guidance and the talks. I know now you are with your Jackie...... 

Rob, I am so glad we had been able to reconnect as friends after all those years ago at SRHS. 
 You are a good person. It is so unfortunate that you were taken from this world so young but knowing that you are together again with Jackie gives all of us joy.

Dear Gibbs family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Robert.  I pray for peace and comfort during this time of loss.  He will be greatly missed. 

Rob,

Your presence in the office will surely be missed.  I am going to miss our talks about fishing and hunting which were always brite points throughout the day.  Everytime i look over to your cubicle, it'll remind me of you and our talks.
