He was born in the Bronx, NY on January 3, 1930. He graduated from Harvard College in 1951 and received a law degree from Harvard Law School in 1954. He served in the US Army from 1954-1957. He began his carrier as a trial attorney in 1957 and went on to serve 40 years with the United States Department of Justice, retiring in 1995.
He was married to Sonia Kantor, from Nashville, TN, on October 1, 1967.
He is survived by his two daughters Beth Shubert and her husband Jeff Shubert and Stacie Campbell; grandchildren Mitchell Campbell, Wade Campbell, Jewel Shubert and Kenneth Shubert; sister-in-law Nancy Handros and niece Libby Handros.
He is predeceased by his wife Sonia, son Stuart Noah, and brother Joseph Handros.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 23 at 11:00 am at National Funeral Home; 7482 Lee Hwy; Falls Church, VA 22042. Interment will follow at King David Memorial Gardens.
He gave his life to his family and will be greatly missed.
