On June 15, 2011 in her home in Reston, VA from ovarian cancer. She was a 1958 graduate of the Women’s College of the University of NC and she worked for 30 years as a Fairfax County elementary school teacher and librarian. She was a member of Northern Virginia Hebrew Congregation, B’nai B’rith, Haddassah, the American Contract Bridge League and a former National Education Association member. She was the loving mother of Stephen M. Minton, MD, Alan R. Minton and Craig L. Minton and a loving and generous grandmother to Emily, Nicholas, Allyse, Ryan, Tiffany and Alexander Minton. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 11:00 am at King David Memorial Garden, National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to B’nai B’rith International. Arrangements under the direction of National Funeral Home, Falls Church, VA.
