Steve was born in Washington, DC to Roger and Betty Jane Lambert on March 28, 1957. He graduated from George C. Marshall High School in Falls Church, VA. He married Cynthia Mumaw on November 8, 1980 in McLean, VA.
He was a Master Plumber and was the Manager and then became the Owner and President of Great Falls Plumbing, Inc.
He was involved in the past with the Upper Loudoun Little League and Babe Ruth Baseball with his son, Steven. He enjoyed golfing and was a former member of the Stoneleigh Golf & Country Club.
Steve is survived by his wife, Cynthia “Cindy”; his sons, Christopher “Chris” Lambert and Steven Lambert; and his siblings, Randy Bullen, Sandi Mooney, Diane Wills, Michael Lambert, Robin Lucas and her husband, Bill, and Lisa Peltzer. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition, Steve is survived by Sharon and Mike Moore, Charles and Virginia Mumaw, James and Elizabeth Mumaw, and his mother-in-law, Gloria Mumaw.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be begin at 12 noon on Saturday September 12th, 2026 at National Funeral Home and the funeral service will start at 1PM. Burial will follow at National Memorial Park at 2pm. Arrangements are by National Funeral Home.
