Samantha was born in Savannakhet, Laos. In 1980, at the age of four, she immigrated to the United States with her family. They first settled in Amarillo, TX, where she spent her childhood before the family moved to Murfreesboro, TN, during her senior year of high school.
Samantha attended the University of Tennessee, where she earned her degree in Business and Finance. She later earned her master’s degree from George Washington University. After completing her undergraduate studies, she lived in Atlanta for three years before making Northern Virginia her home in 2001, where she built a successful career in consulting.
Samantha loved life and lived it on her own terms. She was a world traveler, an avid reader, and a lover of nature, cooking, shopping, mathematics, and listening to old ’80s music. She was known for her honesty and her tough love advice, always wanting the best for the people she cared about.
Above all, family was everything to Samantha. She was deeply devoted to her loved ones and was someone they could always count on.
She is survived by her parents, Karen and Sanith; her brother, Soulichith; her beloved nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, who remained an important part of her family history and whose memory she carried with her throughout her life.
Sing will be remembered for her intelligence, strength, adventurous spirit, caring heart, honesty, and unwavering love for her family.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
Visitation will be held at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042, US, on October 11, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Reception will take place at National Funeral Home on October 11, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
