June held several jobs in her career working as a service manager for southland corporations and later as a shift lead for a postal service contractor. She was well liked and respected and was often looked to as a mentor by her peers.
June’s true talent in life was motherhood and the maintenance of her home. She was the matriarch of the family, always keeping everyone together and in sync. June prided herself on her marriage and all her children. She would exert all efforts necessary to ensure they were properly provided for. Anyone that knew June was aware of her extraordinary cooking skills. Over the years her home was often filled with her children’s and grandchildren’s friends who would be grateful just to have some of her southern home cooked meals.
June was a spiritual woman who would often sing hymns of the bible. She is now resting in peace with the lord.
Arrangements under the direction of National Funeral Home, Falls Church, VA.
