On Monday, February 27, 2012, of Lorton, VA. Retired as Superintendent of the Plasma Physics Division at the US Naval Research Laboratory in July 2008.
Beloved husband of 42 years of the late Joan B. Ossakow; devoted father of Robert (Shari), William (Jessica), and Ian Ossakow; dear brother of Roslyn Mazal; loving grandfather of Nathan, Hope, and Adam Ossakow; loving uncle, great uncle. great-great uncle to several other children; cousin to many. Funeral service will be held at Temple Rodef Shalom, 2100 Westmoreland St., Falls Church, VA on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment at King David Memorial Gardens, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
