Sirous Monsef

Sirous Monsef was born on June 22, 1938, in Esfahan, Iran, where he spent his early years and completed his medical education. Following his graduation from medical school in Esfahan, Sirous moved to Tehran and began his medical career at Misagh Hospital, where he dedicated himself to caring for others.

In the early 1980s, Sirous moved to the United States to continue his medical career and build a new chapter of his life. He worked at Washington Hospital Center, where he continued his commitment to medicine and to helping others.

Sirous was a devoted Bahá’í whose faith was an important part of his life. Outside of his professional work, he found great joy in participating in Bahá’í activities and spending meaningful time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his dedication to his faith, his profession, and the many people whose lives he touched.

Sirous was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Sorosh.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mahnaz Monsef, and his daughter, Shabnam Monsef, who will cherish his memory and carry his love and legacy forward.
