Suzanne Cammann Rice was born on June 27, 1944, to Esther Pratt Cammann and John Sheppard Cammann in Baltimore, MD. She was raised in Baltimore and graduated from Eastern High School. She attended American University where she received a bachelors degree in French in 1966.
Afterwards she worked as a computer programmer for the US Navy in Washington, DC. She married Kenneth Roy Rice in 1978 in Arlington, VA. She later worked as a computer system analyst at the US Patent and Trademark Office until she retired in 1999. She then taught the Alexander Techinque, a system of movement re-education until the advent of Covid in 2020.
She passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 81 on March 23, 2026, in Arlington, VA. She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Roy Rice.
