Sue was born on September 1st, 1944 in Washington, D.C. to Robert and Louise Maiden. Sue was preced-ed in death by her Mother & Father, her sister; Anne Maiden and her beloved husband Tal Walls, Jr. She is survived by her two brothers; Bob Maiden (Shirley) & Don Maiden, her sister-in-law Aileen Cole (Tommy), her two sons; Jerry Walls (Rhonda) and Marty Walls (Arlene) and grandchildren; Marylynne (Amanda), Tory, Logan, Lauren and Allison Walls. She also leaves behind numerous extended family, lifelong friends and co-workers.
Her professional career began at Washington Gas and took her to US Airways, Sun Microsystems and ended her career working with her husband and sons at Walls Lithographics.
Sue’s passion was writting children’s books. In addition to some fiction novels based on local history from the civil war, she wrote a series of books on wildlife using photography taken by her brother Don.
