Theu Thi Nguyen

Theu Thi Nguyen passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026. She is survived by her beloved husband, Ly To; her son, Bryant To, his wife, and their children, Hien Luong To, Faith To, and Adam To; and her son, Phillip To.

Theu was born on May 6, 1948, in Vinh Long, a peaceful countryside region of Vietnam where she spent much of her childhood. She was known for her caring heart, playful spirit, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her smile carried what the Vietnamese describe as “có duyên” — a natural charm, warmth, and magnetic presence that made people feel welcomed and connected.

Later, Theu moved to the city of Saigon where she met her husband Ly To. Shortly after, the two had their first child, Bryant To, then emigrated to the United States where they would welcome their second son, Phillip To.

She was a loving grandmother, mother, and wife and expressed her devotion to her family and friends every day. Her natural talent for cooking brought comfort and a sense of home to everyone who shared her table.

Let us celebrate the warm life that Theu has cultivated. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Committal Service will take place at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042, US, on June 14, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
