I was looking for Dr. Thomas Jacobs email address so that I could tell him about my successes in life that would not have happened without him. I was very sad to learn of his passing before I ever got to give him the proper thanks. He treated me for Bipolar Disorder and changed my life. I would not be here if it wasn't for him, truly. I hope everything good comes his family's way.

Thank you

I was so sorry to learn of Tom's passing. As an alumnus of the GW psychiatry residency, a longtime member of the GW psychiatry faculty and a dear colleague, Tom's death is especially painful. From the GW psychiatry family we send our sincerest condolences. We will miss Tom.

Tom and I worked together at arl hosp for many years. he was a wonderful human being. My condolence on your loss. david frenkel md

I can’t remember ever not feeling genuine love and kindness from my uncle. Even when we didn’t agree about something, I still felt that love. I saw him give it to everyone in his life. I saw this love and kindness even when his wife was gravely ill, and when he himself faced his own death. I am so glad he got to see my children. I will miss having him in my life.

Dr. Thomas Jacob was a rare soul who seamlessly integrated psychology with deep Christian spirituality. His understanding and wisdom were profound, and his care for others was genuine.

I will always be grateful for how much he helped me and will deeply miss our conversations about what truly matters in life.

Dr. Jacob leaves behind a lasting legacy of service that extends far beyond Northern Virginia and will continue to touch future generations.

My deepest condolences to his family and close friends.

We commiserate with the family of Dr. Thomas N Jacob on the demise of their patriach. May the Lord console and keep the family Anthe loved ones.

Our heartfelt condolences and prayers 🙏

My sincerest condolences to Dr. Jacob’s family and friends. Dr. Jacob was an answer to prayer, a kind and Godly man whose wise counsel brought me through some profoundly difficult seasons of my life. Over the years, he became like a dear friend - and while I am devastated at his passing, I also look forward to a joyful reunion with my brother in Christ.

Thank you, Dr. Jacob, for all the ways in which you changed my life and that of my family; your help will reverberate across many generations. I will miss you very much.

My husband and I were heartsick to learn that Dr. Jacob had passed away. We’re so sorry for your loss. As a psychiatrist, he was one of a kind. He saw the practice of psychiatry as a combination of therapy and pharmacology. Through his therapy, he demonstrated his compassion, faith, and humanity. Through his pharmacology, he demonstrated his wisdom and experience. He was such a good man, and he will be missed by so many people. Our deepest sympathy to you, your family, and your wonderful receptionist.

I was a patient of his for many years and he helped me in a very difficult time of my life. Sorry to hear of his passing.

Dr Jacobs helped my family in a remarkable way.
He is someone with amazing faith and he shared that with patients and their families.

Condolences to family and friends what a tremendous loss. He helped so many

I am very sorry for your loss and have you in my thoughts and prayers. I was one of Dr Jacob's patients and two words that I would use to describe him would be caring and compassionate. In my last session as I left his office, I turned and looked at him and he gave me a thumbs up. Looking back, that will always be what I will remember most.

With Deepest Sympathy,

Lynda

Sending my love to the Jacob and John family which has became my family. I may not be there physically, however my heart is right there with all of you. Love and prayers Debbie Donald.
