With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tito Ventura Piccolo on September 30, 2026 due to complications caused by pneumonia. Tito was born and raised in St. Louis, Michigan but spent much of his youth with extended family in Italy. Tito was deeply devoted to his family, siblings and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents Rocco and Francesca (Muti) Piccolo, his older brother Robert and sister-in-law Rose Marie. He is survived by his devoted sister, Joan and brother-in-law Timothy Carmody of McLean, VA and Naples, FL
A graduate of Alma College in Michigan, he spent a summer studying at the Universite Laval in Quebec, Canada after which he attended Georgetown University where he obtained a Master’s degree in Languages and Linguistics.
He was founder of the commercial and residential interior design firm, Barti Associates Inc. of Arlington, VA, which he ran for over 50 years.
He touched the lives of everyone who had the honor of knowing him. He was a selfless, warm and generous person who will be remembered forever and solely missed by all. He leaves a legacy of kindness, compassion, and love of style.
Services to honor Tito will be held on Monday, October 5th, 2026 at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042. The family will receive guests at 10:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow the service at National Memorial Park.
