With deep sorrow, the family of Toan Van Nguyen announces his passing on September 10, 2025, in Springfield, Virginia, at the age of 76.
Born on January 10, 1949, in Tai Lang Duong Xuan Ha, Thua Thien, Hue, Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen proudly served as a Second Lieutenant in the Vietnamese Navy before immigrating to the United States in 1975 to begin a new chapter for his family.
He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Nguyen is survived by his beloved wife, Hanh Vo; his daughter, Hong Nguyen, and her husband, Joseph LaPalme; his son, Timmy Nguyen, and his wife, Annie Tek; and his cherished grandson, Elijah Nguyen.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, Virginia. Words of remembrance will be offered by the priest beginning at 10:00 a.m.
