Toni Lee Kerr

Toni Lee Kerr, 84, of Falls Church, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on June 4, 2025. Toni was born on July 10, 1940, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, to the late Anton and Kathryn Klasnick. She grew up in a tight-knit Croatian community, was a lifelong member of the Croatian Fraternal Union (Lodge 3), and volunteered at the Croatian Embassy in Washington, DC, for various events.

Toni graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and went on to teach elementary school, where she touched the lives of many children with her warmth and dedication. She was a beloved wife to Donald F. Kerr, a devoted mother, and a proud grandmother to five grandchildren. Toni was predeceased by her son, Anton Kerr, and is survived by her children, Don Kerr III and Kathleen Lawrence, as well as her grandchildren: Ivy Kerr, Josh Kerr, Matthew Kerr, William Lawrence, and Henry Lawrence.

Toni had a deep appreciation for the arts and devoted over 25 years to volunteering as an usher at Arena Stage, where she cherished her connections with the theater community. Throughout her life, Toni pursued a variety of passions, including running a successful craft business, showing Lhasa Apso dogs, and working as a tour guide in Myrtle Beach, SC. Above all, Toni had a special love for the beach, where she found both joy and solace in the sun and surf.

Toni’s warmth, generosity, and devotion to her family will be missed by all who knew her.
