Dear Vic, I will miss you very much. I remember coming to American University as a junior faculty and you were always so kind and friendly to me, and to everyone. You had a great sense of humor and I always enjoyed our little conversations. Your students adored you and your colleagues loved your kindness and witty observations. I missed you very much when you retired and I will miss you even more now. You will always be in my heart. Rest in peace.
