Vivian Hansze was born in Badulla, Sri Lanka on March 28th, 1944 to Wilfred Clement Hansze and Winifred Doris De Bruine. Vivian was the 4th of 5 brothers in a large family of 10 children. An avid lover of travel, Vivian obtained his vocational certificate in Tourism and Hospitality from Hatton Sri Pada College. While working for the Dept of Tourism in Sri Lanka, he received the opportunity to come to the United States in 1980 to learn more about Tourism. He set roots in Los Angeles, CA where he met his wife of 34 years, Carmen. In 1993, Vivian and Carmen, along with their two children William and Rocio moved across the country to Virginia. Vivian spent many happy years in VA surrounded by family and friends.
Vivian peacefully passed away in his home on Tuesday November 3, 2015.
He is survived by: Carmen (his wife), William (his son), Rocio (his daughter), William (his grandson), Nathalia (his granddaughter), Antanat Marlin (Sister), Filishia Doris (Sister), Margaret (Sister), Marien Wilma (Sister), and Winifred Frederic (brother.)
