I knew Wayne through my niece Lien.many years before I used to visit them
But the last 10 years I moved to AZ therefore I missed a lot of good time with them. I always remember him as a kind person ,positive despite all the sickness
he never complained and he had good sense of humor.
He will be missed a lot .

I will indeed miss my Father now that he has given up his long battle with his various long standing health issues, but I know he became a better man as a result of those same issues...showing his true strength, courage and also compassion towards his wife, my Mother, Lien.  I am glad he was able to reconnect with my Sister, Meredith, for these difficult last 12 years as well - I know it meant a lot to both of them.  I will miss our long Red Sox conversations most of all now that he is gone, but I know he is in a better place.  Love you Dad, rest in peace.

I was proud and very honored to call you my Uncle!  You were a very loving man to my Aunt and an inspiring man to your son.  Lastly, thank you for your service and dedication to our great nation.  God bless and rest in peace Uncle Wayne!

I will miss my Dad very much.  The time we spent together, especially over the last 12 years was precious to me and to him.  I will never get to hear him say again: I'm counting the days!

My uncle Wayne was a dear gentleman and loving uncle.  He always had a twinkle in his eye!  In loving memory,

I'm sure I have known Wayne longer than any of you.  His family moved into a house next to mine in Pittsfield Mass (Commonwealth Avenue) back in 1939.  Deborah and I were the same age and became life-long friends.  A great lady I dearly miss.  Wayne was a couple years older so we weren't bosom buddies.  Still, he worked me at baseball for which I had little talent.  We also took lengthy bike trips together for miles into the hinterlands which lasted many hours.  Just packed sodas and peanut butter sandwiches and off we went.  Did our parents know about that?  Of course not.  They would only have said no.  But it was a time well before the Jeffry Dalmers appeared, an innocent age, and what did we know anyhow?  Great adventures.

I send my sincerest condolences to Wayne's family and friends.  I miss him too.

I will miss the conversations with Wayne which usually started with "Did you read the article in the Post about ..".  Wayne read every article, every day.   He was a friend and will be missed.
