What a sense of humor Uncle Bill had!  And such a smart bright fellow! Bill and Mary opened their home to me when I was in the area and their cat was playing with a grape on the floor, when it rolled far under some furniture, he said don't worry it will be a raisin in 6 months!

Bill Youngs was a wonderful person. He was a dedicated husband and a great father. He was always respectful of other people, willing to listen and a humble man.

Bill was a patriot, part of the 'greatest generation' and just a truly nice guy. He will be missed.

Uncle Bill was my second Dad. We met December 2013 in his house and we remembered all different events that happened. He reminded me of my saluting him with other soliders when he was President of the Second Division that opend the "Flaming Sword" that's on Constitution Ave.N.W., Washngton, D.C.
Further we talked about that I was his and Mary Helen's ring bearer when they were married. the church in D.C. on Branch Ave. and Pennsylvania. Ave.
We had Great Christmas' for the entire Youngs clan with all Aunts and Uncles. Uncle Bill was my other Dad as he was always there forme when my Dad wasn't available. Sunday was great as we went his house theatre to watch movies. The Big one was his filming in color of "The Battle of the Bugle". He was a VERY Humble person. His living room walls are covered on Presidental letters Thanking him for his service. His Motion picture editing was fantastic as I watched him once and it was awesone. There is so much more I say, but Uncle Bill I have always loved you and you've been in my thoughts and they will always will be there and I Love you.!  Your nephew, Dennis Kevain Richmond

Uncle Bill was my second DAD. When he lived in Falls Church and we did too, he helped me as he was my second Dad because Dad traveled alot. He made me remember that  I was Mary Helen and his ring bearer when they got married over  at the church on Branch Ave. and Pennsylvania Ave., Washington, D.C.
December 2013 we met at his house and remembered items such when he was President of the 2nd Division responsible for the Flaming Sword on Constitution Ave .N.W., D.C. I was maybe 9 or 10 and I saluted him with the other soliders. I told him I didn't know any better. Christmas were great! The entire Youngs family Aunts & Uncles always got together!.  I loved Sundays going to his home movie theatre because we saw all kinds of movies. I'll never forget his filming of the "Battle of the Bugle" in Color and others like "Duck-in-Cover".  When we visiting last he quizzed me to check to make sure I was getting alz. Hewas  surprised I remembered that GW, our first president, ingnauration date was in April as his was.
He and Mary Helen sent me so much ancestry information it was incredible. Again, he was fantastic and has Always in my thoughts and they will Never leave. I have always loved him and Mary Helen. Your nephew, Dennis Kevain Richmond
