Kupfer, Allen C., 71, of Carle Place passed away June 22, 2024. Beloved father of Michael Kupfer (Ashley Norton) and Anne Gilbert (Keith Gilbert). Adored grandfather of Lauren Gilbert. Dear brother of Karen Kupfer-Giordano. Allen was an avid guitarist and singer performing hundreds of times over a 50+ year span. He was a published author of multiple novels and short stories, and true "film buff" who loved westerns and low-budget monster movies above all other genres. Allen taught English and Film Studies at Nassau Community College for 35 years, retiring in 2015 as a Full Professor. He was known for his quick, sarcastic sense of humor, his love for his family and friends, and his passion for his many hobbies. The family will receive visitors for a memorial visitation Thursday, June 27th, 2-5 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Funeral Service Thursday, June 27th, 8pm at the funeral home. Interment of cremains Friday, June 28th, Noon at St. Johns Cemetery.
