Anne Marie Collins

Collins, Anne Marie, 58, formerly of Farmingdale, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2023 after a brief illness. Reunited in heaven with her adoring parents Frank and Teresa Collins, and her brothers Frank Collins (Kathleen) and Michael Collins. Loving sister Geraldine Garafola (Raymond Peter), Maureen Johns (Fred), Eileen Radecki (Rick), Patricia Grant (Kenneth), Timothy Collins (Mary Ellen), Daniel Collins (Joann), Christine Meyburg (Kurt). Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. A lifelong resident of Farmingdale, she recently lived with her sister Maureen in Port St. Lucie, Florida. She retired after more than 30 years as hostess at McDonald’s in Farmingdale. She had previously volunteered at Daleview Nursing Home for several years. She enjoyed bowling, shopping, watching classic old TV shows (especially CHiPs), singing, and spending time with her family. She faithfully attended mass at St Kilian’s with her mother and father. Anne Marie was a kind and loving soul who did not allow Down Syndrome to keep her from spreading her joy to her family, friends, and even strangers. She will be greatly missed by all. The family will receive visitors Monday, February 20th, 4-7 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass Tuesday, February 21st, 9:45 am at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment following at St. Charles Cemetery.
