Beverley Elaine Wilson of 36 Kirkcaldy Lane, Middletown, DE, passed away in peace at Christiana Care Hospital ICU on Thursday, November 19th, with her husband and all her sons at her side.
She was born in Kingston Jamaica W.I. and migrated to the U.S.A in 1965 to pursue a nursing career. She worked at Merrill Lynch stock brokerage for 3 years before starting her nursing journey at North Shore University Hospital in NY where she achieved her R.N., B.A., and M.S. degrees.
She later became an Adult Nurse Practitioner (A.N.P) and worked and retired in 2007. The Wilson family spent the majority of their time as a family in both Laurelton, Queens and East Northport NY.
A proud mother of three sons Mark, Michael, and Jason. Grandmother (Nana) to Brandon. Aunt to nieces Donna, Sherri-Anne, Alecia, and nephews Derrick, Westy, Jeffrey, and Donovan. Her love embraced everyone. Her nurturing spirit provided a loving home for her husband, Alva (Noddy) of 52 years, and their sons. Her devotion to her brothers, Errol, Derrick, and sister Joan was boundless. Benevolence was her constant goal. Her practice of having compassion, encouragement, and providing service to humanity was generated from her truly altruistic soul.
Beverley respected the power of education, effort, and hard work. She loved the beauty of life, and the vitality of friendships, music, comedy, and dancing. She will be remembered for her sparkling personality, kindness, sense of style, and grace. Her passing has taken away a sizeable part of the hearts from all of those that knew her -- her husband, sons, grandson, brothers, sister, nieces and nephews, friends, colleagues, and associates.
May the grand creator grant her peace, comfort, blessings, and welcome her into the realms of eternal life. She deserves it in the next life and in the ever after.
