
It with great sorrow that we announce the passing of beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother Carmen Anthony DeFelice. The grandson of Eugenio and Antonetta DeFelice, Italian immigrants who sailed to the United States aboard the S.S. Roma arriving in New York in 1904. Son of Arcangela and Ferdinando DeFelice and brother to Eugene, Fred, and Charles DeFelice.
Tony's strong bond to his three brothers accompanied him throughout his lifetime and was the subject of numerous tales and anecdotes. Tony, as he was called affectionately throughout his life, was a loving and devoted husband to Mildred Ann DeFelice, father to Jessica Ann DeFelice, Jennifer Ann DeFelice, & Richard Anthony DeFelice, grandfather and guardian to Joshua Michael Ritman, grandfather to Maximilian Felice Helia, Ruben Alexander Helia, and great-grandfather to Klaudia Nicole Ritman and Audrina Hope Ritman. Carmen was a man of strength, talent and precision; a master craftsman and an amazing conversationalist. He was also a devoted public service employee for the Town of Oyster Bay, a role he took incredible pride in. Carmen was a man of conviction, honor, and faith with a strong, generous, and sensitive heart.
The family will receive visitors Sunday, August 8th, 2-5 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Funeral Service Sunday, August 8th, 5 pm at the funeral home. Interment Monday, August 9th, 11 am at St. Charles Cemetery.
