Rest In Peace dear Carol, as you always gave everyone who spent time with you so many wonderful facets of your thoughts, honestly and thoroughly --especially in humor!   What a nice next door neighbor to have for 29 years! Carol always asked me how my husband was doing, and how my kids were doing.  You'd never have to ask Carol, "what are you trying to say!" lol as she would tell you exactly how she felt, whether opinion or observation, yet was usually correct! I will miss popping in to say hello, and feel so bad that it had been a while since visiting with Carol. She always said she liked our "little dog, but liked the big quiet one better" and that cracked us up. (We always bring the little one in asap)  Now Heaven can be amused by this witty person, who was a caring lady and friend to our family. -Thinking of you Vinnie, Ray and Family... Petey and family,
I am sending my heartfelt sympathy on the death of your mother, sister, and cousin. Carol was such a SPECIAL person, who loved her family deeply, and who could make anyone laugh. I met Carol through my mom, Nancy. Both were newly widowed and had met at St. Kilian's. I really think God brought them together to help each with the loss of their husbands. Despite their grief, they quickly grew to be great friends. My children and I will never forget Carol's visit to Delaware, as we laughed all weekend., and it was one of the first times we saw my mother laugh that much since my dad's passing. Again, Carol was a special lady!
I know Carol was having health issues recently, but I know she is in heaven playing cards, and telling anyone who will listen funny stories about Farmingdale, her family, work, and life.
Although I know anyone who really knew Carol has a heavy heart right now, Heaven has a new angel.
