Gerstler, Carole Ann, 85, of Lindenhurst, formerly of Farmingdale, passed away February 24, 2025. Loving mother of Elisa Duignan, Michael Duignan (Jennifer), and Laraine Zizza (Carmelo). Cherished grandmother of Jackie Purslow (Rich), Michael Catapano Jr., Anthony Zizza (Emma), Matt Catapano (Nicole), Gianna Piccirillo (Alex), Caroline Catapano, Marina Zizza, Angelina Duignan, and Gabriella Duignan. Adored great-grandmother of Henry, AJ, Mackenzie, Cory, and Mia. Carole Ann was the matriarch of her family and will be greatly missed. She was a wonderful dancer, and lover of classic movies. However, nothing gave her greater joy than to be with her family. The family will receive visitors Thursday, February 27th, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass Friday, February 28th, 9:45 am at St. Kilian RC Church. Cremation private. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Carole Ann's name to the ASPCA, aspca.org.
